About the design
DAZZ Ring — Radiant
One marquise leans into the center stone from each side, across the width of the band — the house setting, the DAZZ signature.
The center diamond, between two marquises across the band, 0.4 ct together — lab-grown or natural, your choice — comes with an international gemological certificate: IGI for a lab-grown diamond, GIA for a natural one. The ring is made to order, in 14K gold — white, yellow or rose.
The cut in this design
The Radiant in the DAZZ Ring
The radiant joins two worlds. The line of the emerald, a rectangle with cut corners, and the brilliance of the round, a brilliant cut that sparkles from every facet. The house prefers an elongated radiant, which lengthens the finger. The cut corners are durable, and the radiant is comfortable for everyday wear. Its brilliance hides small inclusions better than a step cut, and it looks lively and bright even in ordinary light.
In the DAZZ Ring two marquises lean toward the radiant, one on each side, across the band. The marquises continue the rectangular line of the radiant, and the ring reads as one line of three stones. The setting here differs from the rest of the collection. Instead of claws, four flat, triangular prongs fold over the stone like tabs, on a tapered head. The marquises are V-set, held at their two points only, with their sides open.
- Radiant or emerald cut?
- Same line, different character. The emerald is quiet and returns light in broad flashes. The radiant sparkles. A rectangle with sparkle? Radiant.
- Does a radiant look large?
- When it is elongated, yes. The weight is spread along its length. You see the stone before it is made.
- Why marquises beside a radiant?
- Because the marquise leans toward another stone without competing with it. Its point aims at the radiant, and its line continues the line of the center stone across the finger. It is the house's setting.
